The aim of this kit is 'to modify the official Lego 75355 X-Wing UCS set from 2023 into a screen accurate adaptation using as many of the original parts and ideas as possible making it accessible to everyone, beginners and veterans alike. The purpose of the metal technic parts for this MOC is to improve the stability of the wing structure (S-foil mechanism) so that they can be fully deployed without any droop issue inherent to the LEGO plastic liftarm beams they replace.'
